AERS 2026 Student Small Research Grant The Atlantic Estuarine Research Society (AERS) invites applications for its Student Small Research Grant, which provides up to $1,000 in research support plus free registration to the next AERS conference. This grant supports undergraduate and graduate students conducting research relevant to estuarine and coastal environments within the Mid-Atlantic region (DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA, DC, and NC). Funds may be used for fieldwork travel, research supplies, or student salaries. Projects should demonstrate clear research goals, academic rigor, and alignment with the AERS mission to foster understanding and stewardship of estuarine and coastal systems. | AERS/SEERS Spring 2026 Meeting Student Travel Awards AERS offers Student Travel Awards to help students attend AERS and CERF meetings. These awards provide financial assistance to offset meeting-related expenses such as registration, travel, and lodging, helping students engage with the broader estuarine science community. Eligible applicants must be AERS members in good standing, enrolled in a degree-seeking program, and willing to contribute service to AERS (e.g., moderating sessions, assisting at registration, etc). Students presenting research at the meeting receive priority consideration. Preference is also given to first-time attendees, students from underrepresented groups, those without other financial support, and those who have not previously received an AERS travel award
